The Grinch Advent Calendar 2026 – 24 Day Christmas Countdown | Whovi

The Grinch Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar – I Was Looking for the Grinch. Then Whoville Took Over the Whole Shelf.

He’s easy to spot.

Green face. Santa suit. That expression that says Christmas might be in trouble.

But then I looked at everything surrounding him.

There’s Max with his antlers. Children dressed for Christmas. Presents everywhere. A snowman. An elf. A toy soldier. A sleigh loaded with gifts. Even little pieces of Whoville itself.

Suddenly, the The Grinch Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar doesn’t feel like 24 versions of one character.

It feels like somebody shrank an entire Christmas morning in Whoville and divided it into 24 surprises.

The Grinch Isn’t Allowed to Have This Countdown to Himself

And that’s probably my favorite part.

The original Dr. Seuss story isn’t only about the Grinch. Max, Cindy-Lou Who and the residents of Who-ville are all central to the Christmas tale, which is why a larger Whoville-inspired assortment makes sense for this kind of countdown.

The pictured set follows that idea with a much broader holiday cast.

Some figures wear Santa hats and winter clothing. Others carry presents, books, candy canes or decorations. A few aren’t characters at all—they’re miniature Christmas scenes and accessories.

So one morning might reveal a character.

The next might bring out a sleigh.

Then a snow-covered Whoville building.

That unpredictability is much more fun than knowing exactly what shape is waiting behind every door.

Max With the Antlers Would Be Going Straight in the Front Row

There’s something about that little brown dog that makes the whole display work.

Max is the Grinch’s loyal companion in the story, and the antler look is closely tied to the Grinch’s Christmas scheme.

In this collection, he also gives the lineup a nice break from all the red, green and snowy white.

Then I’d probably put the Santa-suited Grinch beside him.

The Christmas-light-covered Grinch can go on the other side.

And at that point I’ve apparently started arranging Whoville instead of opening an Advent calendar.

Twenty-Four Days Later, There’s a Tiny Christmas Village

That’s where this set has a different personality from a straightforward figure collection.

The 24-piece assortment isn’t visually identical from one slot to another. There are people, holiday costumes, Christmas props and small Whoville-inspired scenes.

The color palette does most of the work tying everything together: Christmas red, green, white and gold, with pastel pink, blue and purple appearing throughout the character designs.

Put all 24 pieces together and the result feels less like a row of collectibles and more like a miniature holiday scene.

The snowy packaging pushes that idea even further with decorated trees, colorful houses and a “Welcome to Whoville!” sign.
